CSA 2010: A Driver's Guide - Under the FMCSA’s CSA 2010 initiative, drivers’ actions will impact their safety performance evaluation and the safety ratings of their employer. This program explains CSA 2010 and shows drivers why they must comply with the driving and safety regulations for the benefit of their careers and their company. The program explains the key fundamentals of CSA 2010 as follows:

  • Main components of CSA 2010 – data collection, safety evaluation, safety measurement and interventions.
  • Behavior Analysis Safety Improvement Categories (BASICs) – unsafe driving, fatigued driving, driver fitness, controlled substances and alcohol, vehicle maintenance, cargo-related and crash indicators.
  • Driver’s role in improving, maintaining or degrading their safety fitness evaluation and that of their company.
  • What drivers can do to prevent “high point” violations and have good inspections.

This program includes the DVD, CSA 2010 Overview, driver handbook and a 24-page discussion.

Roadside Inspections: A Driver's Guide – (2nd Edition)
One failed roadside inspection can lead to a driver or vehicle being placed out of service, which can result in more of your drivers being selected for inspections. CSA 2010 will place much greater importance on the results of each and every road inspection – good or bad – to evaluate each carrier’s Safety Fitness Determination. This training program is tailored to help drivers and carriers pass roadside inspections.  Topics include:
